KCC Chairman Events raising funds for KCF

The Chairman of Kent County Council, David Brazier has chosen Kent Community Foundation as his charity of the year!

In the coming months the he will be hosting two events with proceeds going to Kent Community Foundation and the valuable work that we do.

The first event is a concert performed by  at 7.30pm on 24th March at Mote Hall, Maidstone. The programme is a popular one, beginning with Mozart’s Symphony No. 32, K.318, followed by Brahms’s Violin Concerto and concluding with Beethoven’s Symphony No 6 “Pastoral”. The soloist in the Brahms Violin Concerto will be Bartosz Woroch and the conductor Brian Wright. There will be a brief talk before the concert begins.

The Society has kindly agreed to make 200 seats at the concert available to raise funds to support the Kent Community Foundation. Tickets range from £5 - £26. The second event, with proceeds going to Kent Community Foundation is The Good Friday Chairman’s Sportive 2018 (30th March) – a Cycling event organised by Cyclopark. 

Now in its fourth year, the Good Friday Sportive is the first in a series of events organised by Cyclopark, Kent’s premier cycling facility. After a warm up lap of the Cyclopark circuit, the route heads into the quiet lanes of the surrounding Kent countryside and offers up a challenge to both experienced and recreational riders who can expect some testing climbs, fast flats and exhilarating descents!

There is a choice of two rides: 

Elite Ride - 55 miles, £25 per rider

Family Ride - 15 miles, £15 per adult rider & kids ride free
