We are delighted to announce that Kent Community Foundation has been
selected to deliver the Grassroots Grants Scheme for Kent and Medway,
along with the Grassroots Endowment Challenge on behalf of the Office of the Third Sector (OTS).

Grassroots is a new and innovative three-year scheme of grant-making and endowment building, offering excellent opportunities for small voluntary and community organisations across the county, to apply for funding and also providing those with an interest in local philanthropy the means to build funds significantly faster than ever before.

Grassroots Grants
Grants of up to £5000 are available for small community and voluntary groups active for at least a year and with an income of less than £20,000pa. The scheme promotes projects and causes which focus on building a sense of community and improving quality of life - if you think your group might qualify and would like to find out more email admin@kentcf.org.uk or call 01303 814500 and ask to speak to our Grants Team.

Grassroots Endowment Challenge
This challenge for Kent and Medway has been negotiated with the OTS to encourage the establishment of permanent endowed funds for the perpetual benefit of small voluntary groups and organisations. The challenge is open to individuals and companies and can allow the value of any new gift to effectively double.
