Kent Community Foundation is a charitable foundation set up to encourage philanthropy for the benefit of the people of Kent.
Our unique approach to philanthropy allows individuals, families, and businesses to support their own specific local interests and causes and in doing so invest in the future of their community. Our concept is simple. We provide the means for individuals and organisations to establish their own charitable ‘funds’ which benefit local people. We offer all the pleasure of giving without any of the hassle.
We go out of our way to seek out local charities, community groups and voluntary organisations in need of support and where possible match them with one or more of our various funds. In doing so we help them achieve their aims, and those of our Fund-Holders and contributors, of improving quality of life for the people of Kent.
In addition to our dedicated funds established by individuals, families and companies, the Foundation has its own General Fund which enables us to support some of the many voluntary groups and organisations who approach us for funding but fall outside the criteria of our dedicated funds.
The General Fund is open to contributions and donations enabling you to support our work without setting up your own dedicated fund.
